The Early Years
The best way to provide you with a glimpse of this one-of-kind multi-disciplinary dentist is to start at the beginning. Her journey in the field of dentistry began right after graduating high school in Cameroon, when, after several years of intensive study, she was awarded her first dental degree in Senegal from Dakar University.
After she completed that six-year dental education, she completed a one-year oral surgery program under the tutelage of an esteemed oral surgeon. Upon receiving an Oral Surgery and Dental Public Health Certificate, she returned to her beloved Cameroon and practiced until 1999, impressing numerous esteemed colleagues along the way and always seeking to learn new methodologies and technologies.
Exciting Journey to the United States
In 1999, upon receiving a scholarship for an internship in clinical restorative dentistry at Loma Linda University, Dr. Bikoi paved the way for her impressive career in dentistry in the United States. After many years of training in numerous dental specialties, Dr. Bikoi earned her Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) in 2012. She has trained with and worked alongside some of the most highly regarded dental professionals in the United States and other countries.
After working in private practices in the Washington, D.C. area for a few years, Dr. Bikoi opened her own practice in 2017. Her extensive education and training afford her the privilege of providing all types of dental care at Artistic Family Dentistry in Silver Spring, including:

Charity Work and Giving Back to Communities
Providing care to less advantaged communities and families has always been important to Dr. Bikoi, and she has, for many years, worked tirelessly to provide much-needed dental care to people who would not otherwise be able to receive it. Some of her compassionate acts over the years include:
- Founding RAPSED (Reseau d’Actions pour la Promotion de la Sante, l’Education et le Development), a non-profit organization that provides health education and treatment to those in need
- Visiting remote villages to provide dental care
- Setting up a full dental clinic in a remote village in Brazil along the Amazon River
- Providing supplies to schools in remote elementary schools
